About the series

The Clearing House webinar series on forest financing provides a regular global platform for knowledge exchange, peer learning and practical dialogue on mobilising finance for forests. Organised by the UNFF Secretariat, the series supports the work of the Global Forest Financing Facilitation Network (GFFFN) by sharing up-to-date information, experiences and good practices from across regions and sectors.

The webinars bring together Member States, practitioners, experts and partners to explore financing approaches, instruments and enabling conditions that support sustainable forest management and the implementation of the United Nations Strategic Plan for Forests 2017–2030.

Objectives

The webinar series aims to:

• Strengthen understanding of the global forest financing landscape
• Facilitate the exchange of country experiences and lessons learned
• Highlight innovative and evolving financing approaches
• Support Member States in identifying practical options and partnerships for mobilising forest finance
